Google has given us a first look at the budget-friendly Pixel 10a, showing a design that looks a lot like the Pixel 9a but with a flatter back and no camera bump. Preorders in select countries start on February 18, 2026, with the retail launch expected by late February or early March.
The Pixel 10a comes with the tagline “A phone with more in store.” While Google has yet to reveal full specs, early reports point to a few areas where the phone could be improved.
Price will be the biggest factor. The Pixel 9a launched between $499 and $599, but leaks suggest the Pixel 10a could cost around $640 to $755 in Europe. That puts it up against the iPhone 16e at $599 and Samsung’s Galaxy A56 at $499.
In memory, more RAM or an upgrade option would help with AI features and photo processing. Rumors also suggest Google could bring down premium features like Call Assist and Gemini Live, which would give the Pixel 10a an edge if it’s true.
Battery life looks promising as well. The phone is said to pack a 5,100mAh battery, bigger than the iPhone 16e and slightly larger than the Galaxy A56.
