DITO offers free calls to Filipinos in the Middle East during conflict

DITO Telecommunity is giving OFWs in the Middle East a way to stay connected with their families back home. From March 9 to 13, 2026, subscribers roaming in select countries will get five minutes of free incoming calls from DITO numbers in the Philippines. After the free allocation, normal roaming rates will apply.

The offer covers Filipinos in Bahrain, Kuwait, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Jordan, and Lebanon. It comes as part of DITO’s support for government efforts to ensure communication access during the ongoing conflict in the region.

Subscribers who need help placing calls can visit DITO Experience Stores at SM Megamall and SM North EDSA.

“We stand with the Philippine government in supporting and protecting our kababayans abroad. DITO remains committed to weaving Filipino communities together wherever they may be through reliable connectivity,” shares Ernesto R. Alberto, President and Chief Executive Officer of DITO Telecommunity.

By offering free calls, DITO ensures that distance does not prevent families from staying connected when it matters most.
