Apple has released the AirPods Max 2 in the Philippines. The new over‑ear headphones come with the H2 chip, which brings better performance and smarter audio features. The price is set at ₱34,990.

The H2 chip improves Active Noise Cancellation, making it up to 1.5 times more effective. It also powers Adaptive Audio, which adjusts between noise cancellation and transparency depending on your surroundings.
Other features include Conversation Awareness, which lowers the volume when you start talking, and Voice Isolation, which makes calls clearer. Apple Intelligence also adds Live Translation, which lets users understand different languages in real time.
For sound quality, the AirPods Max 2 has a new amplifier and supports 24‑bit, 48kHz lossless audio when connected via USB‑C. Spatial Audio has been improved for better instrument placement and deeper bass. Gamers also get lower latency with Game Mode.
The design is familiar but now comes in five colors: midnight, starlight, orange, purple, and blue. Apple also highlights sustainability, using recycled materials and recyclable packaging.
