iPhone price hike hits PH: New prices for iPhone 17, 17e, Air, and 16

Apple increased local retail prices for its active smartphone lineup in the Philippines. The sudden iPhone price hike affects the iPhone 17, iPhone 17e, iPhone Air, and older iPhone 16 models across all storage tiers.

The standard iPhone 17 line saw a ₱12,000 increase for its base model. The 256GB version now costs ₱69,990 from its original ₱57,990 launch price. The 512GB variant climbed to ₱85,990 from ₱72,990.

Budget shoppers face similar increases on the entry-level iPhone 17e. The 256GB storage option jumped to ₱54,990 from ₱44,990. The 512GB capacity went up to ₱70,990 from ₱59,990.

The slim iPhone Air received a major price adjustment as well. The 256GB base capacity jumped from ₱72,990 to ₱84,990. The 512GB model rose to ₱100,990 from ₱87,990, while the 1TB option jumped from ₱102,990 to ₱132,990.

This cost adjustment coincides with the launch of the flagship iPhone 18 Pro series, starting at ₱94,990, and the foldable iPhone Duo, starting at ₱159,990.

The price hike has expectedly hit Apple’s lineup, with significant increases across standard storage capacities compared to launch pricing.

  • iPhone 17 (256GB): ₱69,990 (Up from ₱57,990)
  • iPhone 17 (512GB): ₱85,990 (Up from ₱72,990)

  • iPhone 17e (512GB): ₱70,990 (Up from ₱59,990)
  • iPhone Air (256GB): ₱84,990 (Up from ₱72,990)
  • iPhone Air (512GB): ₱100,990 (Up from ₱87,990)
  • iPhone Air (1TB): ₱132,990 (Up from ₱102,990)
  • iPhone 16 (128GB): ₱62,990

These new rates are currently live on the official Apple online store in the Philippines. Local buyers should verify pricing with authorized resellers for physical retail availability and updated payment offers.
