Samsung has confirmed a Galaxy Event on August 27, 2026. It will be streamed live on Samsung.com and YouTube. The company has not named the device, but reports point to the Galaxy S26 FE as the best candidate for the unveiling.
Leaks suggest the phone will have a new Exynos 2500 chip, spotted on Google Play Console. Battery life is rated at up to 50 hours per charge, with 1,200 charge cycles. That’s fewer cycles than the Galaxy S25 FE, but endurance is slightly longer. The phone also has IP68 dust and water resistance.
Samsung’s internal ratings show A for energy efficiency, A for drop resistance, and C for repairability. A major leak has already revealed images and specs (6.7-inch AMOLED display, 12MP main camera, 50MP ultra-wide lens, 8MP telephoto, 12MP selfie shooter, 4900mAh battery), but the official launch will confirm all details.
The Galaxy S26 FE is expected to be Samsung’s next mid-range flagship option, which balances performance and price.
