Samsung’s Exynos 2700 has reportedly outperformed Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 in internal benchmarks. Early results show the Exynos chip leading in CPU, GPU, and AI performance, raising expectations for Samsung’s next flagship phones.
Benchmark data points to a 19 percent jump in CPU performance compared to Qualcomm’s chip. GPU scores were 5 percent higher at peak, with up to 24 percent gains in low-power tests. AI performance also showed faster response times, with Exynos 2700 generating results 18 percent quicker than Snapdragon.
Samsung plans to use the Exynos 2700 in the Galaxy S27 and S27+, while the Galaxy S27 Ultra will continue to run on Snapdragon globally. The company has been working to improve its in-house silicon since the Exynos 2600, addressing past issues like overheating with new heat dispersion technology.

These results suggest Samsung is moving closer to ending dual-sourcing for its flagship devices. If performance holds up in real-world use, the Exynos 2700 could mark a major step in Samsung’s push to rely fully on its own chips.
