These are the top 10 global best-selling smartphones in Q2 2026, according to Counterpoint. Apple’s iPhone 17 led the list with 6 percent of worldwide unit sales, while Samsung’s Galaxy S26 Ultra topped Android. Together, Apple and Samsung filled all ten spots, showing their strong hold on the market.

Apple secured five places with the iPhone 17, 17 Pro Max, 17 Pro, 17e, and even the older iPhone 16. The company grew 5 percent year-on-year, with gains in India, Japan, the Middle East, Africa, and nearly doubling in South Korea. Carrier deals and trade-in programs helped push sales across different price points.

Samsung also claimed five positions. The Galaxy S26 Ultra became the best-selling Android model, marking the first time an ultra-premium Android led June quarter sales. The Galaxy A07, A17 5G, A17 4G, and Galaxy S26 rounded out the list, showing Samsung’s strength in both premium and budget segments.

The overall smartphone market dropped 11 percent year-on-year, but Apple and Samsung grew their combined share to 26 percent, the highest June quarter contribution ever. Buyers continued to spend on flagship models even as entry-level and mid-tier sales weakened.
