Samsung is expected to raise Galaxy S26 prices in South Korea starting October 1. The increase comes seven months after launch and is driven by higher memory and logistics costs.
Reports point to a KRW 149,600 (around USD 110) hike across all models. The Galaxy S26 (256GB) could move from KRW 1,254,000 (USD 932) to KRW 1,403,600 (USD 1,043). The Galaxy S26 Plus may rise from KRW 1,452,000 (USD 1,079) to KRW 1,601,600 (USD 1,190). The Galaxy S26 Ultra (256GB) could jump from KRW 1,797,400 (USD 1,336) to KRW 1,947,000 (USD 1,448). Samsung says pricing is still under review, but analysts expect the hike to go through.
In India, the Galaxy S26 series has already seen a price increase of up to 17%. The Galaxy S26 (256GB) now costs INR 1,02,999, up from INR 87,999. The Galaxy S26 Plus (256GB) is priced at INR 1,34,999, while the Ultra (1TB) now reaches INR 2,14,999. Reports say it’s due to the rising costs of RAM, motherboards, and logistics as the main reasons.
Meanwhile, the Philippines has not yet been affected. However, current pricing is already close to the expected price hikes in other countries.

Local listings show the Galaxy S26 Series priced slightly lower than launch, thanks to ongoing promos like Samsung’s trade‑in offer, which can cut up to ₱45,725 off.
