Finally, the Marshmallow update for the Samsung Galaxy S6 has arrived via OTA. Actually, it went live a few days ago when Filipino owners over at the XDA forums started getting it. But I’m just getting this now. And I am really excited.
It finally happened! Samsung is releasing Android 6.0 Marshmallow for Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 edge globally.
The last weekend, Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge users began losing some toggles on their quick settings. I was able to experience this myself and was surprised to see the Mobile Data, Mobile Hotspot and Private Mode toggles were no longer there.
There’s no doubt about it the black Samsung Galaxy S6 is a beautiful phone. But it turns out the Blue Topaz version is even prettier. Smart Communications brought the variant to the country and it’s now exclusively available in Smart Stores nationwide.
Over the weekend, I noticed the Mobile Data toggle on my Galaxy S6’s notification shade had disappeared. It is actually one of the toggles I always use (for fear that my data run wild and incur additional charges). So imagine my frustration when I didn’t find it there.
