Finally, the Marshmallow update for the Samsung Galaxy S6 has arrived via OTA. Actually, it went live a few days ago when Filipino owners over at the XDA forums started getting it. But I’m just getting this now. And I am really excited.
The Pinoy Galaxy S6 Edge owners got the update first two weeks ago. And I was pressing the System Update tab since then, hoping to get it on the S6 as well. Call me excited.

There are reports of some glitches (like the AM/PM location on the notification shade). It doesn’t seem to affect all marshmallow updated S6 devices though.
The Galaxy S6 Marshmallow update’s file size is over 1.2GB, and comes with the Android 6.0 Marshmallow TouchWiz updates, new icons, as well as visual changes and performance enhancements. If you still haven’t gotten it yet, just keep pressing the Software Update tab. There are other ways to get it (download firmware, flash via Odin), but I suggest just waiting for the OTA. Its safer.
