Xiaomi Mi 8 Pro and Mi 8 Lite now official

Xiaomi recently announced two additional members of the Mi 8 family — the Mi 8 Pro and the Mi 8 Lite.

Xiaomi Mi 8 Pro, Mi 8 Lite

The Xiaomi Mi 8 Pro features a 6.21-inch Super AMOLED display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, 6GB/8GB RAM, and 128GB of storage. It has 12MP + 12MP dual rear cameras and a 20MP selfie shooter.

The handset is highlighted by an in-display fingerprint scanner and a IR face unlock. It also comes with a 3,400 mAh battery with Quick Charge and Android Oreo.

The Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, on the other hand, features a 6.26-inch LCD display, a Snapdragon 660 chipset 12MP + 5MP rear camera, a 24MP selfie shooter, 4GB/6GB RAM, and 64GB/128GB storage.

It has a regular fingerprint scanner on the back, runs on Android Oreo, and is powered by a 3,350 mAh battery.

The Xiaomi Mi 8 Pro will be priced at CNY 3,200 (roughly PHP 25,500) for the 6GB/128GB variant, and CNY 3,600 (PHP 28,400) for the 8GB/128GB. The Mi 8 Lite, on the other hand, will retail for CNY 1,400 (PHP 11,100) for the 4GB/64GB, CNY 1,700 (PHP 13,400) for the 6GB/64GB, and CNY 2,000 (PHP15,800) for the 6GB/128GB.
