One of the year’s highly anticipated flagships, the Xiaomi Mi MIX 3, is now official. The handset launched at the Forbidden City in China, and features a profound mix of technology and art.

The Xiaomi Mi MIX 3 comes in with a lot of good features here. It features a ceramic back panel with an aluminum frame.

A 6.39-inch AMOLED display with an impressive 93.4% screen-to-body ratio dominates the front. The company ditched the notch, and went with pop-up cameras like the OPPO Find X to maximize the screen real estate.

The pop up cameras are powered by neodymium magnets that kicks in and raises the panel with a snap. For those thinking that this could easily break, the company claims it will have a life expectancy of 300,000 cycles.

The panel houses the 24MP + 2MP dual front cameras and sports a Sony IMX576 sensor with the secondary sensor providing depth information.

The 12MP + 12MP dual rear shooters have a 4-axix OIS and AI powered stabilization and light metering features.
