The Xiaomi Mi 9 will launch on February 20, 2019. Almost the same day as the Samsung Galaxy S10 series. But before that happens, leaked photos of the phone makes it online.
Renowned leaker Bang_Gogo recently tweeted several hands-on images of the upcoming Xiaomi Mi 9. He also released unreleased promotional posters highlighting the phone’s triple rear cameras.
According to the leaks, the Mi 9 will sport a 6.4-inch 19:9 full HD display with a water drop notch for the selfie camera. It will have tiny bezels on the sides with the bottom one being slightly thicker as usual.
At the back is where it gets interesting. The Mi 9 will sport a triple camera setup of 48MP + 12MP + ToF 3D arranged vertically. Leaks are saying the main camera could be using a Sony IMX586 sensor.
As for the rest of the specs, the Mi 9 is expected to come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor, 6GB + 128GB, and the new 2GBps X24 LTE modem. It will run on MIUI 10 based on Android 9 Pie, and powered by a 3,400mAh battery with fast charging.
Anyhow, with the launch date happening in a few days, we’ll find out if the leak holds up. The Xiaomi Mi 9 will launch on February 20, 2019.
