GCash now lets you send money to over 30 banks

GCash users can now send money to over 30 banks and e-money issuers (EMI) for free. The popular e-wallet service became even more versatile thanks to its partner, instaPay.

For those not familiar, instaPay is an initiative led by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) under the National Retail Payments System framework. The service allows the transfer of funds between peso accounts of participating BSP-supervised banks and e-money issuers in the Philippines.
