Xiaomi Redmi 7A now official in the Philippines; Price starts at P4,790

The Xiaomi Redmi 7A officially launches in the Philippines. Those looking for a quality budget phone should take a look at this one.

Apart from being official, we also finally get the price of the Redmi 7A in the Philippines. The budget phone will come in two versions. The 16GB version will retail for PHP 4,790, while the 32GB will go for PHP 5,290.

The phone will be available in Mi Stores nationwide starting July 26, and on Lazada starting August 6. The handset is also coming to Shopee on a later date.

So, what do you get for PHP 4,790? For starters, the Redmi 7A comes with a 5.45-inch HD+ IPS display with a 1440 x 720 resolution and a sharp 295 ppi. You also get an efficient octa-core Snapdragon 439 processor with 2GB RAM, and 16GB and 32GB storage options.

There’s single 12MP rear camera with f/2.2 lens and a 5MP front shooter for selfies. It also has a large 4000mAh battery, a microUSB port, face unlock, and MIUI 10.
