Dark Mode has been rising in popularity in the past few months. Facebook’s Messenger app integrated it last March. This time, there seems to be plans on rolling it out on the main Facebook Android app.

The information is from Jane Wong, a reverse engineering expert who uncovered the upcoming the feature on the Android app. The Dark Mode feature is not yet public. According to Wong, it is under early stages of development.

There’s currently no official time line on when this will be public.

Personally, I’m hoping it’s soon. As it is, the Facebook app is very bright with a lot of white. Dark Mode will at least help lessen its effect on our eyesight.
