Redmi 9A, Redmi 9C announced; Features large displays, 5000mAh batteries

The Readmi 9A and Redmi 9C are now official. The handsets were recently launched in Malaysia.

The new phones can be classified as entry level, priced at RM 359 for the Redmi 9A and RM 429 for the Redmi 9C. Converted locally, that’s around PHP 4,200 and PHP 5,000, respectively.

We at least know the Redmi 9A is coming to the Philippines. The handset popped up on the latest local Mi Store brochures.

Redmi 9A

The Redmi 9A has a 6.53-inch HD+ Dot Drop Display with a MediaTek Helio G25 processor, 2GB RAM, and 32GB storage. It has a large 5,000mAh battery.

At the back is a single 13MP camera. It also has a 5MP selfie shooter.

The Redmi 9C, on the other hand, comes with the same 6.53-inch HD display, 5MP selfie camera, 2GB RAM, 32GB storage, and 5,000mAh battery. It has a slightly better MediaTek Helio G35 processor running the show.

The phone has a triple camera setup with a 13MP main, a 2MP macro and another 2MP for depth. It also has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
