realme launches 125W UltraDART fast charging technology

realme recently announced its own 125W fast charging technology, calling it 125W UltraDART Flash Charging, a day after OPPO launched theirs.

With the company’s plans of launching more 5G smartphones across different price segments, its new UltraDART Flash Charge is the perfect match for these power-hungry devices.

realme’s 125W of power can theoretically charge a 5G smartphone with a 4000mAh battery to 33% in just three minutes, and fully charge it in just 20 minutes. It supports 125W PPS, 65W PD, and 36W QC protocols, among others, and compatible with other Dart, VOOC, and Warp Charge charging standards.

With fast charging technology, safety is always a major concern — and realme has that covered as well.

To protect devices from over heating (and possibly blowing up), realme keeps smartphone temperatures under 40-degrees Celsius with 14 temperature sensors and the help of internal cooling systems.

Aside from the new technology, realme also has plans of launching its own 50W and 65W ultra-thin “fit-in-your-pocket” chargers.

Prior to 125W UltraDART fast charging, realme’s fastest was the 65W SuperDart fast charge which launched with the realme X50 Pro 5G.
