PUBG players can put their skills to the test as Xiaomi Philippines partners with PUBG to host this year’s PUBG Mobile Philippine Cup.
In the tournament, 128 teams will battle it out during the qualifiers, which will begin on June 26 to July 4. 32 squads joining the Group Stage on July 10 – 11 and a final 8 advancing to the Grand Finals on July 24 to 25, 2021.
The winning squad will take home Php 50,000 and a Redmi Note 5G for each team member. Second place wins Php 25,000 and, third place takes home Php 15,000, and fourth place will be awarded with Php 10,000.
The tournament is open to players who reside in the Philippines, aged 18 years and above. A full squad of 5 players with an optional substitute must be provided. Registration is ongoing until June 18, 2021 via this link. The full tournament mechanics may be read here.
Redmi Note 10 5G
The Redmi Note 10 5G is at the forefront of Xiaomi and PUBG’s partnership.
To recap, the phone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 700 5G chip. There are two variants — 4GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 128GB. It also has a 6.5-inch FHD+ DotDisplay with a 90Hz refresh rate and a 2400 x 1080 resolution.
At the back, the phone has a 48MP main camera with two 2MP secondary cameras for macro and depth. While at the front, an 8MP shooter handles selfies. There’s a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging via a USB-C port.

Redmi Note 10 5G in the Philippines comes in two variants – 4GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 128GB and retails at Php 9,990 and Php 11,490, respectively.
It will be available on Lazada, Shopee, and Authorized Mi Stores and retailers starting June 5, 2021.
