Redmi unveiled a powerful new phone, along with the Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro 12.4. The Redmi K50 Ultra features top-of-the-line specs, including a 144Hz OLED display and a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. Let’s check out what its all about.
The Redmi K50 Ultra is stacked, starting up front. It has a 6.67-inch 2.5K OLED display with QHD 2712 x 1220 resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, and support for HDR10 and Dolby Vision. The panel also has a 480Hz touch sampling rate and 1,920Hz high frequency PWM dimming. There’s a under display fingerprint scanner that also has a heart rate sensor.
Under the hood, the K50 Ultra is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 with several configurations with up to 12GB RAM and up to 512GB storage.
The phone has a 108MP main camera, together with an 8MP ultra-wide and a 2MP depth shooters. It also has a 20MP selfie camera in front.
On the connectivity side, there’s Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, NFC, and an IR Port. It also has a 5000mAh battery with 120W PD fast charging which can top up the phone to full in just 19 minutes.

The handset also features a set of stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Audio support.
The Redmi K50 Ultra is available in Black, Blue, and Silver. There’s also a Mercedes F1 Edition with 12GB + 512GB. In China, it has the following price tags.
