Apple might launch the iPhone 14 on September 7

Apple might be ready to announce the iPhone 14 on September 7, 2022. According to a report from Bloomberg, the company has been busy preparing for the event.

New iPhones are launched annually, usually around September. Since the pandemic, the company has shifted to livestream events with very polished segments and high production value. Apple employees have reportedly begun recording for the presentation over the past few weeks.

Apple is expected to launch the several new hardware, including the iPhone 14, a new low end iPad with an A14 chip and a USB-C port, new iPad Pro models with the latest M2 chips, as well as a new Apple Watch and new Mac computers.

The iPhone 14 is reported to look like the iPhone 13. Apple is said to eliminate the “mini” variants and will instead release a model with a 6.7-inch screen, a first non-Pro model with a display of this size. It is also going to be powered by an A15 chip from the iPhone 13.

Meanwhile, the iPhone 14 Pro will do away with the notch, and replace it with a pill-shaped punch hole for Face ID, and a round punch hole for the front camera. It will have a more powerful processor and larger cameras, including a 48MP main, alongside a 12MP ultra-wide and telephoto shooters. Other improvements include better video recording and better battery life.
