As previously reported, the vivo Y16 is coming to the Philippines. The smartphone is the latest budget device from the brand, coming in with a large display and an equally large 5000mAh battery.
The vivo Y16 is marketed as an “upgrade” from past budget devices, vivo Y15A and the vivo Y11. It will come in two configurations — 4GB+64GB and the 4GB+128GB.
Under the hood, you have a modest Helio P35 chip. While at the front, there’s a 6.51-inch HD IPS display with a dated water drop notch that houses a 5MP selfie camera underneath.
The vivo Y16 features a 13MP main and a 2MP macro for a dual camera setup, a 5000mAh a battery, and a side fingerprint scanner.
The official Philippine price is yet to be revealed. But based on global SRP, expect it to be somewhere in the 7K range. More details are coming, so stay tuned.
