Xiaomi launches the Redmi 12C with 50MP camera in the Philippines

The budget smartphone starts at ₱5,499.

Xiaomi brings its latest budget phone to the Philippines. Meet the Redmi 12C, a large-screened device that boasts a 50MP camera with a starting price of just ₱5,499.

The Redmi 12C is made for budget gamers, thanks to its MediaTek Helio G85 processor with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage. It has a large 6.71-inch Dot Drop display with HD resolution and up to 500 nits of brightness.

The smartphone has a dual camera setup with a 50MP primary camera, no doubt a big highlight feature, along with a secondary depth lens. At the front, there’s a 5MP camera housed on a waterdrop notch for selfies and video calls.

The smartphone also features a rear fingerprint scanner, a large 5000mAh battery with 10W charging support, and MIUI 13 on top of Android 12.
