Samsung officially launches the Galaxy A54 5G and Galaxy A34 5G in the Philippines.
The Galaxy A54 5G comes in two variants, 8GB+126GB and 8GB+256GB, priced at ₱24,990 and ₱26,990, respectively. Meanwhile, the Galaxy A34 5G is priced at ₱19,990 for the 8GB+128GB model and ₱21,990 for the 8GB+256GB model.
The launch event in Manila was hosted by Renee Dominique, and graced by Claudia Barretto and Juliana Gomez, along with an upbeat performance from Upeepz.
Samsung Galaxy A54 5G and Galaxy A34 5G
The Galaxy A54 5G and Galaxy A34 5G follow the design and form factor of the Galaxy S23 series. Both phones have some common features such as a 6.4-inch and 6.6-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a high 120Hz refresh rate, a 5000mAh battery with 25W wired charging support, and up to 256GB of internal storage. They also have triple rear camera setups with OIS and different selfie cameras.
The Galaxy A54 5G is powered by an Exynos 1380 chipset with 8GB of RAM and has a 120Hz display. It has a 50MP main camera, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and a 5MP macro sensor on the back, and a 32MP front-facing camera.
While the Galaxy A34 5G is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 1080 chipset with 8GB of RAM and a 120Hz display. It has a 48MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 5MP macro sensor on the back, and a 13MP front-facing camera.
Both phones run on Android 13 with One UI 5.1 and come with stereo speakers and Dolby Atmos support. Samsung also promises four years of OS updates and five years of security patches.
Price and Availability
The Galaxy A54 5G is priced at ₱24,990 for the 126GB model and ₱26,990 for the 256GB model. The Galaxy A34 5G is priced at ₱19,990 for the 128GB model and ₱21,990 for the 256GB model.
The smartphones are available with flexible payment deals from Home Credit and 0 percent Credit Card installment plans. You can also trade in your old device to get savings of up to ₱10,150. Bundle deals are also available with other Samsung devices – get 50 percent off on the Galaxy Buds2 Pro and Galaxy Buds2, and 30 percent off on the Galaxy Watch5 Series. Buyers will also get a Free Travel Adapter together with their devices.
