The HUAWEI P60 Pro has a stunning 6.67-inch LTPO OLED display with a resolution of 2700×1220 pixels and an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The display provides accurate colors with P3 wide color gamut. In fact, it has a TÜV Rheinland Colour Accuracy Dual Certification for color accuracy and precise color projection, making it one of the best screens on the market.

The display has a peak brightness of 1300 nits. It also has an adaptive feature that adjusts the refresh rate according to the content, saving battery life and further enhancing the user experience. It has minimal bezels and a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera.

The design of the P60 Pro is elegant and premium, with a metal frame and a glass back that curves on all four sides. Only the screen has Kunlun Glass protection. The phone comes in two colors: Rococo Pearl and Black. The back houses the rectangular camera module that protrudes slightly from the surface.

Our review unit is in Rococo Pearl color, an elegant signature color of the P60 Pro. It has a unique pearl texture design that reflects different shades of light and creates an eye-catching effect. According to Huawei, each Rococo Pearl P60 Pro is unique on its own, each one exhibiting random patterns. It is a beautiful and sophisticated choice for anyone who wants to stand out from the crowd.

The phone’s variable aperture allows you better control of the aperture, giving you more flexibility and creativity when taking pictures. It helps image quality by reducing noise and increasing how much light reaches the sensor.

The front camera is a 13MP selfie camera with an f/2.4 aperture and a wide-angle lens. It can record videos up to 4K resolution at 60 fps, and also supports EIS and HDR10+.

HUAWEI P60 Pro Review

Due to HUAWEI’s issues with the US government, the phone only has 4G connectivity. That being said, 4G speeds on the phone are fast and, for some reason, rival 5G speeds in some areas of the country.

The phone has a fingerprint sensor under the display that unlocks the phone quickly and securely. It also supports face recognition that works well even in low-light conditions. The phone has a dual SIM card slot that supports 4G LTE networks, as well as Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, GPS, and a USB-C port. It also has dual stereo speakers which sound amazing, delivering a clear and immersive audio experience.

Battery Life

The HUAWEI P60 Pro has a large 4815mAh battery that can last up to a full day of heavy usage. It supports Huawei SuperCharge technology, which the company claims can charge the battery to 50 percent in just 10 minutes. It also supports a max of 88W wired fast charging, and a max of 50W wireless charging.

Interestingly, the bundled 88W charger has two ports: USB-A and USB-C. It can charge the battery to full in under 40 minutes.

Verdict

The HUAWEI P60 Pro is a stunning smartphone that delivers on all fronts, offering a premium design, a brilliant display, powerful performance, an amazing camera, and a long-lasting battery.
