Smart Communications rebrands GigaLife app, now called Smart app

The GigaLife app is now the Smart app with more awesome features and enhancements.

Smart Communications rebrands the Gigalife app into the Smart app that let you discover and enjoy your passions all in one tap.

The Smart app is available for the following Smart Prepaid, Smart Bro Prepaid, TNT, Smart Postpaid, Smart Bro Postpaid, Smart Signature, and for PLDT Prepaid Home WiFi. You can easily access and manage your account, top up your load, register for promos, pay your bills, monitor your data usage, earn and redeem GigaPoints, and more.

The Smart app includes GigaPay, a feature that allows you to link your Maya e-wallet or your credit/debit cards to the app and make transactions easier and more convenient. With GigaPay, you can swipe to pay for your load and promos without leaving the app and earn GigaPoints for every transaction.

GigaPoints, on the other hand, are rewards that you can earn and redeem on the Smart app. You can use them to get discounts, freebies, and exclusive offers from Smart and its partners. You can also monitor your GigaPoints balance and history on the app.

Smart is the Best Mobile Network according to Ookla, a global leader in network measurement and connectivity intelligence. The telco received the award for the third consecutive reporting period of Q1-Q2 2023.

Smart’s mobile network performance is supported by PLDT and Smart’s integrated fixed and wireless networks. As of end-March 2023, PLDT had expanded its total fiber footprint to over 1.1 million kilometers, consisting of over 231,000 kilometers of international fiber and over 874,000 kilometers of domestic fiber. This fiber infrastructure also supports Smart’s 2G, 3G, 4G/LTE, and 5G networks, which cover 97% of the country’s population as of end-March 2023.
