The Xiaomi 14 is expected to launch on October 27, 2023, in China. The launch date was revealed by a leaked product poster that was shared online by a reliable tipster.
The Xiaomi 14 is expected to be one of the most powerful and feature-packed smartphones of the year. According to leaks, it will sport a 6.44-inch OLED display with 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, up to 2,800 nits of brightness, and Dolby Vision and HDR10+ support.
The display will also have a 12-bit panel, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera.
Under the hood, the phone is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and “UFS 4.0 Enhanced” storage. It will also have a large VC liquid cooling system for heat dissipation.
It will pack a 4,600mAh battery with support for 90W wired and 50W wireless fast charging, as well as 10W reverse wireless charging. At the back, it will have a triple camera setup consisting of three 50MP cameras for the main, ultra-wide, and telephoto, with Leica Summilux lenses.
Lastly, the Xiaomi 14 will run on Xiaomi’s new operating system, HyperOS, teased to replace the MIUI moving forward.
Also leaked are the prices. The Xiaomi 14 will come in four variants:
- 12GB RAM + 256GB storage – CNY 3,999 (PHP 31,100 / USD 550)
- 12GB RAM + 512GB storage – CNY 4,299 (PHP 33,500 / USD 590)
- 16GB RAM + 512GB storage – CNY 4,599 (PHP 35,800 / USD 630)
- 16GB RAM + 1TB storage – CNY 4,999 (PHP 38,900 / USD 680)
