Redmi 13C 5G now official with Dimensity 6100+ chip and 50MP camera

Xiaomi unveiled the 5G variant of its Redmi 13C smartphone, which was previously announced with a 4G Helio G99 chipset. The Redmi 13C 5G features a different processor and camera setup than its 4G counterpart.

The Redmi 13C 5G is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chip with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB or 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage.

It also has a dual camera setup at the back, consisting of a 50MP main camera and an unnamed secondary camera. In comparison, the 4G version came with three rear cameras.

The Redmi 13C 5G sports a 6.74-inch FHD+ IPS display with a 90Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It has a dew drop notch for the 5MP selfie camera and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

The phone packs a 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. It runs on MIUI 14 based on Android 13. It has dual SIM slots with 5G connectivity, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Redmi 13C 5G

The Redmi 13C 5G comes in three colors: black, green, and silver. In India, the phone is priced at INR 10,999 (around ₱7,300) for the 4GB+128GB variant, INR 12,499 (around ₱8,300) for the 6GB+128GB, and INR 14,499 (around ₱9,600) for the 8GB+256GB variant. There is no word yet on its availability in other markets.
