LTO offers Driver’s License printing and delivery via new hotline

The Land Transportation Office (LTO) is helping motorists claim their plastic driver’s licenses faster with “Aksyon on the Spot 09292920865.” This new initiative aims to expedite the process for those who haven’t received their permanent licenses yet.

LTO Assistant Secretary Atty. Vigor D. Mendoza II said that the backlog of paper-printed licenses has finally been addressed. “We already downloaded a sufficient supply of plastic cards down to the licensing offices across the country. Kaya dapat lahat ay may plastic-printed driver’s license na dahil wala na pong backlog dito.”

The LTO estimates that only 5% of those previously affected by the backlog haven’t claimed their plastic licenses. Assec. Mendoza urged these remaining motorists to utilize Aksyon on the Spot to receive their licenses.

How it works

Motorists simply need to scan or take a photo of their paper-printed driver’s license and send it via Viber to the “Aksyon on the Spot” hotline: 09292920865. The LTO Central Office will then immediately print the plastic license.

They can also choose to pick up their licenses at the LTO Central Office or have them delivered through an accredited courier service for an additional fee.
