LTO rolls out “I-report Mo Kay Chief” portal to report violations and complaints

The Land Transportation Office (LTO) has rolled out a new online portal called I-report Mo Kay LTO Chief. The goal is to make it easier for the public to file complaints and report road violations.

LTO said the initiative aims to provide a more accessible way for people to report problems, especially incidents on the road. Complaints can be submitted through the official website (ireportmokayltochief.ph), via Facebook Messenger, or by calling hotline 1342-586.

A dedicated office will handle the reports, with show cause orders typically issued within two to three days.

Upcoming measures include stricter enforcement against drunk driving. Lacanilao said violators may face penalties such as confiscation of driver’s licenses, underscoring the agency’s push to improve road safety and frontline services.

With the new reporting system, LTO aims to minimize road rage incidents, corruption and misconduct among personnel, unregistered or colorum vehicles, reckless driving, and other violations.

Back in 2023, the agency introduced a similar system called Isumbong Mo Kay Chief, where the public could scan a QR code to access a platform for submitting complaints directly to the LTO chief.
