Gemini Live offers a more fluid and intuitive AI assistant experience, compared to its standard counterpart. Its conversational capabilities enable more natural interaction with human-sounding speech patterns that sound less like a robot.
Here’s how to use Gemini Live:
- Download the Gemini app and make sure you have the latest version installed on your Android device.
- Open the app, then tap on the “Live” button or icon (which looks like a waveform) to start a voice conversation.
- Start engaging in a conversation. Speak naturally. You can ask questions, make requests, or engage in general dialogue.
The AI assistant will then respond to your voice prompts, maintaining a seamless flow of communication. It also has different voice options and allows pauses and interruptions that make it sound like a real conversation.
For now, Gemini Live is only available on Android in English. Expect to see the feature on iOS soon.
