Waze recently added a new theme that adds Warchief Thrall as voice navigator. The World of Warcraft theme adds several skins and sounds from the popular game to the app, providing a unique and immersive driving experience for fans.
World of Warcraft’s Thrall sounds off during drives. When faced with heavy traffic, he advises listeners to “breathe — this is not the end of the world.” He also adds a touch of humor to the navigation experience, describing U-turns as “a clever strategy to fool any pursuers on our tail.”
In addition to Thrall, the World of Warcraft theme also lets users choose between two moods: “Horde” and “Alliance.” The “Horde” mood features a miniature Thrall, while the “Alliance” mood features a warrior in blue and gold armor. Users can also select the Red Drake as their vehicle, adding another layer of customization to the driving experience.
To activate the World of Warcraft theme, users can go to Waze> Settings> Voice and sound and choose “World of Warcraft” from the list. The Red Drake icon can be selected by going to Settings> Map display> Car icon. To change the mood, users can tap View Profile> Mood.
Waze has previously featured other popular themes, such as the Ghostbusters theme with Ray Stantz voiced by Dan Akroyd, and the Kung Fu Panda theme with Po voiced by Jack Black.
