Details of POCO X7 Series cameras, display surface

With just a few days left before the official launch, more details about the POCO X7 and X7 Pro have surfaced.

Indian retailer Flipkart has announced that the POCO X7 will feature a 1.5K POLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a peak brightness of 3000 nits, and a color depth of up to 68.7 billion colors.

The screen will be protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and support HDR10+ and Dolby Vision. It will also have an in-display fingerprint scanner.

Additionally, the X7 will be equipped with a 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Ultra and will feature IP66, IP68, and IP69 certifications for dust and water resistance.

For optics, expect a Sony IMX882 main camera and a 20MP selfie shooter for both the POCO X7 and X7 Pro. The vanilla model will also include an 8MP ultra-wide lens.

Regarding the design, the X7 features a square camera module with three sensors, whereas the Pro model adopts a more streamlined pill-shaped module with two cameras. Both devices will be available in yellow and black colorways with a unique faux leather finish.

Meanwhile, the X7 Pro is already confirmed to have a MediaTek Dimensity 8400-Ultra processor and a massive 6000mAh battery.

The POCO X7 and X7 Pro are set to officially launch on January 9, 2025. Both devices will be available in the Philippines. A POCO X7 Pro Iron Man Edition is also expected to launch. Stay tuned for updates.
