Nintendo has finally dropped a teaser for the highly anticipated Switch 2, confirming its impending launch in 2025. While details remain under wraps, the teaser gives us a glimpse of what’s to come.

One of the key takeaways is that the Switch 2 will have redesigned Joy-Con controllers, which no longer slide into place, but attach via an I/O port of some sort.
The new Switch also appears sleeker, with a larger screen compared to its predecessor and a better, more stable kickstand that spans the length of the console.

Furthermore, Nintendo said the Switch 2 will boast backward compatibility, allowing players to enjoy both physical and digital Nintendo Switch games. However, not all Switch games will be supported on the new console.
And of course, Nintendo will be introducing a library of exclusive games designed specifically for the Switch 2.
