Google has officially unveiled its latest addition to the Pixel series, the Pixel 9a. Starting at just USD 499, it’s the most affordable option in the lineup.

The Pixel 9a boasts a 6.3-inch FHD+ pOLED display with a resolution of 2424×1080 and a refresh rate of 120Hz. Its peak brightness is 1800 nits and offers HDR support. Protection comes via Gorilla Glass 3.
Under the hood, the device is powered by Google’s Tensor G4 chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM. It offers storage options of 128GB or 256GB and is backed by a 5100mAh battery. Google claims the Pixel 9a can last over 30 hours on a single charge, with support for 23W wired and Qi wireless charging.
In the photography department, the handset has a dual camera setup with a 48MP main sensor and a 13MP ultra-wide lens. It also has a 13MP shooter in front for selfies and video calls.
The phone runs on Android 15 and offers 7 years of OS, security, and Pixel Drop updates, which is one of the longest in terms of updates next to Apple’s iOS.

The Pixel 9a will be available in four colors: Iris, Peony, Porcelain, and Obsidian. Regional availability will vary. Check with your local Google store website for details.
