Meta updates Threads for a better experience

Meta has updated its Threads web platform to make it easier to use and bring it closer to the mobile app experience. For starters, Threads has moved from Threads.net to Threads.com. These changes aim to give users a smoother and more personalized time on the platform.

One big update is the new custom feeds at the top of the page in the single-column view. This makes the desktop version look more like the app, making it easier to navigate. Liked and saved posts are also easier to find in the main menu, letting users revisit posts quickly.

Another new feature lets users add and rearrange columns. This allows them to create their own dashboard with favorite searches, profiles, or topics.

Meta has also made sharing easier. A new tool lets users copy Threads posts as images, eliminating the need for screenshots. There’s also a scrolling composer (found under the “+” button) that stays visible as users scroll, making it simple to post anytime.

Additionally, a test feature now allows users to upload follow lists from other apps, starting with X. This helps users connect with friends and influencers across different social networks.

As Meta continues to improve Threads, these new features make it easier to use, more customizable, and more connected for everyone.
