Xiaomi is bringing a new update to its Leica-partner smartphones, adding real Leica shutter sounds to enhance the photography experience.
With this update, users can pick from four classic Leica shutter sounds, inspired by legendary camera models: M6, M9, M3, and M10. These sounds aim to make the mobile photography feel more like using a traditional camera.
The update will roll out in two phases. Some Leica-partnered Xiaomi smartphones will get it between mid-May and late July 2025.
