Samsung has officially revealed its latest flagship, the Galaxy S25 Edge, taking the lead ahead of Apple’s upcoming iPhone 17 Air. The device boasts an ultra-slim design while packing powerful flagship features.
The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is all about its slim form factor. The device measures just 5.8mm thick and weighs only 163g, making it one of Samsung’s thinnest flagship devices to date.
Due to its slim profile, however, the phone houses a 3,900mAh battery, which supports 25W fast charging, reaching 55% charge in around 30 minutes. It also supports wireless charging and Wireless PowerShare, allowing users to charge compatible devices on the go.
At the front, the Galaxy S25 Edge features a 6.7-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with an adaptive 1-120Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 protection.
The device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy, available in 12GB+256GB and 12GB+512GB configurations.
For photography, Samsung has equipped the Galaxy S25 Edge with a dual-camera setup, led by a 200MP main sensor with OIS and 3x optical-quality zoom. Accompanying it is a 12MP ultra-wide lens. On the front, a 12MP selfie camera handles video calls and self-portraits.
The smartphone runs on One UI 7, on top of Android 15. It also has an IP68 protection for dust and water resistance and a titanium frame for enhanced durability.
Samsung has yet to reveal price and availability details. However, the Galaxy S25 Edge will be available in Titanium Silver, Titanium Jetblack, and Titanium Icyblue color options. Stay tuned for further updates.
