Smart Multi SIM unveiled: Asia’s first pluggable eSIM adapter for Android phones

Smart debuts eSIM adapter for Android phones, priced at ₱119.

Smart Communications has launched the Smart Multi SIM, the first pluggable eSIM adapter in Asia. It’s designed for Android users whose phones don’t support eSIM by default.

The adapter is a physical SIM card that works with the Smart Multi SIM mobile app. Once installed, users can add, manage, and switch between multiple eSIM profiles without changing devices. It’s a simple way to access eSIM features on older or budget Android phones.

The Multi SIM costs ₱119 and is available at Smart Stores, Online Store, and authorized retailers. Each unit comes with 5GB of data, 100 SMS, and 10 minutes of calls, valid for three days.

The adapter also supports Smart’s Trave app for roaming and KiQ, a customizable eSIM-based service. Users can download the Smart Multi SIM app from the Google Play Store to get started.

What do you think of Smart’s new Multi SIM tool? Would you try it? Stay tuned for further details.
