Apple Watch Series 11 debuts with new health features, price in PH revealed

Hypertension alerts, sleep score, 5G, and 24-hour battery life.

Apple has launched the Apple Watch Series 11, bringing new health tools, better battery life, and 5G connectivity. The device introduces hypertension notifications, which alert users to signs of chronic high blood pressure. It also adds a sleep score feature that rates sleep quality based on duration, consistency, and sleep stages.

The watch is thinner and more comfortable to wear. Aluminum models now use Ion-X glass that is twice as scratch-resistant. Titanium models continue to feature sapphire crystal for added durability.

Battery life has improved, offering up to 24 hours on a single charge. Fast charging gives users up to 8 hours of use in just 15 minutes. The watch also supports 5G cellular. A redesigned antenna helps improve reception in low-signal areas.

watchOS 26 powers the device and includes new features like Workout Buddy, wrist flick gestures, and Live Translation in Messages. Users can also access new watch faces and Smart Stack hints.

Apple Watch Series 11 is available in 42mm and 46mm sizes. Color options include jet black, rose gold, silver, and space gray for aluminum models, and natural, gold, and slate for titanium.

Prices start at ₱26,490. Expect local availability sometime in October.
