The realme GT 8 Pro is expected to launch in global markets this month. The phone was first introduced in China, along with the regular GT 8, but only the Pro model is expected to be released internationally.

The GT 8 Pro runs on Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip and comes with realme’s R1 graphics chip and a large 7,000mAh battery. It has a 6.79-inch AMOLED screen with high resolution (QHD+) and a fast 144Hz refresh rate.
The device’s rear setup includes a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization, a 200MP periscope telephoto lens offering 3x optical and up to 120x digital zoom, and a 50MP ultra-wide sensor.
The Ricoh GR Imaging System supports GR-style focal lengths (28mm, 40mm) and five film-inspired tones. Up front, the phone sports a 32MP selfie camera.
The GT 8 Pro also features a swappable modular camera design. It’s rated IP66, IP68, and IP69 for water and dust protection.
It’s not yet clear if the global version will have the same specs as the Chinese model. realme hasn’t shared pricing or which countries will get the phone first.
