Google has rolled out Gemini 3, along with a major update to the Gemini app. The release focuses on clearer answers, stronger reasoning, and new ways to interact with AI.
Gemini 3 improves how the app handles complex questions and tasks. Responses are now sharper, easier to read, and better at combining text with images. Developers using Canvas will also see upgrades, as the model delivers more complete features for apps built on the platform.
The update includes generative interfaces, a new way of presenting information. Visual Layout creates magazine-style responses with photos and modules, while Dynamic View codes custom interfaces in real time based on user prompts.
Another highlight is Gemini Agent, an experimental assistant built to manage multi-step tasks. It can connect with Google apps like Gmail and Calendar to organize inboxes, schedule events, and even prepare bookings.
The app itself has been redesigned with a cleaner look and a “My Stuff” folder for saved content. Shopping has also been improved, with product listings and comparisons powered by Google’s Shopping Graph.
