Apple adds more devices to its obsolete list

You can still use your devices, but repairs will have to come from third-party shops.

Apple has updated its obsolete products list, adding certain models of the iPhone SE, iPad Pro, and Apple Watch. Once a device is marked obsolete, Apple and its authorized service providers will no longer offer repairs or replacement parts.

The move is part of Apple’s regular cycle of phasing out older hardware. Obsolete status means the device has reached the end of its official support life. Owners can still use their devices, but repairs will have to come from third-party shops.

The update also includes older AirPort products. Apple has been slowly retiring legacy accessories as it shifts focus to newer hardware and services.

For users, the change is a reminder to plan ahead. Devices don’t stop working when they become obsolete, but official support ends. If you rely on these models, it may be time to consider an upgrade.
