Ayaneo Next 2 available for pre-order, eye-watering price included

Ayaneo has opened pre-orders for its latest handheld gaming PC, the Ayaneo Next 2, and the price is as massive as the device itself.

The company is known for pushing portable gaming hardware, and this release continues that trend with desktop-level performance in a handheld form.

The Ayaneo Next 2 features a 9-inch OLED display with a 2400×1504 resolution, up to 1,155 nits of brightness, and up to a 165Hz refresh rate.

Under the hood, it is powered by AMD’s Ryzen AI Max 385 or Ryzen AI Max+ 395 chips, paired with a large 116Wh battery. For controls, it has dual touchpads, TMR joysticks, Hall Effect sticks, shoulder triggers, an 8-way D-Pad, and customizable rear buttons.

At around 3.14 pounds, it is heavier than the Steam Deck OLED and Lenovo Legion Go 2. However, with its specs, it is clearly built for gamers who want more power on the go.
