Xiaomi has set the global launch of the Xiaomi 17 Series for February 28, 2026, right before Mobile World Congress. The lineup will include the Xiaomi 17, Xiaomi 17 Ultra, and a Leica edition of the Ultra. The Pro models will stay exclusive to China.
The timing puts Xiaomi in direct competition with Samsung, which will unveil the Galaxy S26 series on February 25. The company also teased the Starry Green variant of the Xiaomi 17 Ultra, showing a circular Leica-branded triple camera setup.
Both the Xiaomi 17 and 17 Ultra will run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip. Leaks reveal the Xiaomi 17 will come with 12GB RAM and up to 512GB storage, while the Ultra will offer up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage.
Expect battery sizes to be smaller than the Chinese versions, with the Xiaomi 17 at 6,330mAh and the Ultra at 6,000mAh. Fast charging remains at 100W.
