Meta has launched its first AI glasses designed specifically for prescription lenses. The new models expand the Ray-Ban Meta lineup, offering two styles: the Ray-Ban Meta Blayzer Optics (Gen 2), a rectangular frame available in Standard and Large sizes, and the Ray-Ban Meta Scriber Optics (Gen 2), a rounded option.

Both models have adjustable temple tips, interchangeable nose pads, and overextension hinges to improve fit. The glasses are priced from $499 in the US, with pre-orders now open and retail availability starting April 14.
Meta is also rolling out new AI features. These include hands-free nutrition tracking, where meals can be logged by voice or photo, and WhatsApp summaries, which generate private, encrypted recaps of group chats.
Other tools include Neural Handwriting, letting users reply by writing with their finger on any surface, and pedestrian navigation, which will expand to all US cities in May.
