Attack on Titan 3 announced, covers full anime story

Koei Tecmo announced Attack on Titan 3 at Summer Game Fest, revealing a trailer confirming the game will adapt the entire anime storyline. From the Fall of Shiganshina to the War for Paradis, fans can expect a complete retelling in one release.

Unlike the first two titles, which only covered select arcs, this installment will include new story content and improvements to the omnidirectional mobility system.

The game is in development for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. A release date has not yet been announced. More details will be revealed during a global livestream scheduled for July 1, 2026.

For context, Attack on Titan (2016) focused on Season 1, while Attack on Titan 2 (2018) spanned Seasons 1–2, with a Final Battle DLC later adding Season 3. This third entry marks the first time the entire anime will be playable in one game.
