Meta launches AI-powered Seller app for Marketplace

Meta has launched the AI-powered Seller app for Facebook Marketplace, giving sellers a dedicated platform to manage listings, buyers, and sales. For now, the app is available on iOS in the U.S. for users aged 18 and above, marking Marketplace’s 10th anniversary with over 430 million items listed monthly worldwide.

Seller integrates directly with Marketplace, carrying over existing listings, messages, and history. Anything created in Seller automatically appears on Marketplace, ensuring a seamless experience for sellers.

The app features a Seller Home dashboard that shows tasks like shipments, buyer responses, and repricing. It also offers AI-powered listing creation, where Meta AI fills in details such as titles, descriptions, price suggestions, and categories. Bulk listing support makes it easier for sellers managing multiple items.

Other tools include inventory management for editing and relisting items, a unified inbox that organizes buyer messages by item, and performance insights showing views, clicks, conversations, and sales data to guide pricing and inventory decisions.

Seller is currently live on iOS for U.S. users, with a web version available and Android testing underway. Meta says it will continue to develop the app based on feedback.
