It’s official. Smart Communications will be carrying the iPhone 4S. The handset will still be available with Globe Telecom of course, but this time it is sharing the Siri-enabled phone with Smart.
The announcement is on the landing page of Smart’s website, with the date 12-16-11 shown below the word iPhone 4S. Then there is a link to a registration page that gives you the chance to know about pricing and availability ahead of the others.
The iPhone 4S is one of the hottest Apple device, even if it features the same design as the iPhone 4. It’s a different thing inside, however, since it now has improved features like a faster dual-core A5 chip, an 8 megapixel camera, iOS 5, and of course, the voice-controlled assistant Siri.
If you wanted to own an iPhone but could not leave Smart for some reason, then this is the chance you’ve been waiting for.
