Apple has unveiled the 14-inch MacBook Pro with M6, bringing faster performance, stronger AI features, and longer battery life. The new laptop also supports Wi‑Fi 7 and ships with macOS 27 Golden Gate.
The biggest update is the new M6 chip. It packs a 12-core CPU and a 12-core GPU, offering faster graphics and AI performance than the previous generation. Apple also says users coming from older M1 models will see a much bigger jump in speed.

Apple is also putting more focus on on-device AI. The MacBook Pro features a dual 16-core Neural Engine that can handle large language models locally. This will help speed up AI tasks like image generation and image upscaling while keeping data private.
Battery life is another highlight. Apple claims the 14-inch MacBook Pro can last up to 24 hours on a single charge, making it the longest-lasting Mac so far.
The laptop keeps its premium design and features a Liquid Retina XDR display with an optional nano-texture finish. Other hardware includes a 12MP Center Stage camera, a six-speaker audio system with Spatial Audio, and support for up to two external displays.
For connectivity, the MacBook Pro comes with Wi‑Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, three Thunderbolt 4 ports, HDMI, MagSafe 3, an SDXC card slot, and a headphone jack. It starts with 16GB of unified memory and can be configured with up to 32GB.
